Film collected 59.28 cr nett in week one. This was below par performance for Ajay Devgn starrer and now it is bound to finish less than 100 cr nett of ‘Shivaay’, previous directorial venture of Ajay.
Film didn’t find any takers in high end multiplexes and even acceptance among masses was low. Ajay Devgn as director has again disappointed. He always made film with high on style and less on soul plus copy paste of a well known film.
Film is staring at not very healthy lifetime total of around 100 cr nett despite various holidays in first two weeks of run. Despite having Good Friday holiday edge and clear couple of weeks, it might just touch 100 cr nett lifetime or fall short of it

Film grew by 15% today on expected lines and will collect 5-5.25 cr nett. It means film has total of 54.03 cr nett in 6 days and extended 8 day week one will end with 60-62 cr nett.
Though tomorrow is holiday but no massive difference is expected by tonight. Tomorrow though film should grow by 15-20% if not more. Film is staring at not very healthy lifetime total of around 90-100 cr nett despite various holidays in first two weeks of run.
After weekend of 44.28 cr nett, film was expected to hold on Monday but film dropped badly today morning and afternoon.
It has total of 44.45 cr nett after 4 day weekend. Film needs to hold on Monday in order to have long run at box office as there is no major release for 3 weeks.
The distributors (Panorama-PVR) of the film wanted terms almost or exactly matching those given by exhibitors to Yash Raj Film Distributors for ‘Pathaan’. And when those exhibitors did not agree to treat ‘Bholaa’ as they had ‘Pathaan’, Panorama-PVR simply blacklisted the cinemas of those exhibitors.
Still there is hope that film might jump over the weekend but much can’t expected with this sort of opening. Film collected 7.50-7.75 cr nett on day two which means poor under 19 cr nett total.
Film should cross 10-10.25 cr nett as film seems very weak in centres outside UP and MP. Hindi heartland came on board due to genre but acceptance among multiplexes or Maharashtra will decide outcome. Weekend growth is the key and anything less than 60 cr nett weekend will be disappointment!
Film faltered in advance booking numbers with only 35,000 tickets in national chains by end of yesterday. To be fair, today is holiday and this action genre so spot bookings will cover lot of shortfall of advances.
