Rohit is on the verge of establishing a full-fledged production house by bankrolling multiple films under the banner. His vision is to make larger than life cinema that’s meant to be consumed on the big screen and he has been grooming multiple directors to carry his legacy by churning films under his banner. At least 5 films are in the writing stage at Rohit Shetty Picturez.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced under Bhansali Productions and Jayantilal Gada, the film is all set to get released on 25th February 2022. Apart from Alia, Ajay Devgn and Shantanu Maheshwari will be also seen in the film in pivotal roles.
A source close to the movie revealed that the team took almost four hours to transform Siddiqui. Seemingly, the actor was dolled up to shoot a song sequence in the movie.
Vicky Kaushal has recently wrapped his upcoming family drama along with Sara Ali Khan under the direction of Laxman Utekar. There have been no formal announcements concerning the film’s title. Aside from that, Vicky has upcoming projects like as ‘Govinda Naam Mera,’ ‘Sam Bahadur,’ and ‘Takht.’
“The entire industry is after me, but I am clear, Mukta Arts won’t make it. We are ready to sell the remake rights. They can make the film the way they wish to and we are open to even help them on the creative front. As a producer, we have got 110 stories in the pipeline, all fresh subjects. We just need to select them and go ahead at the right time. I don’t want to make a sequel just for money, he added”

In a recent interview with director Karan Malhotra said, “I am looking forward to Shamshera too. I hope it releases soon, and all of us enjoy it and have a blast. To be honest it’s too premature to say anything about Shamshera right now, because, currently, we are in a state when times are so vulnerable and unpredictable. We have not even ventured out into the PR zone of the film yet. But when the time is right we will talk about it for sure.”
Earlier the series was titled the same as the novel but now the makers have renamed it to The Great Indian Murder. The mystery drama stars Pratik Gandhi, Richa Chadha, Ashutosh Rana, Sharib Hashmi, Raghubir Yadav and Shashank Arora in the lead roles and it is all set to premiere this year. The series has been produced by Ajay Devgn Films and Reel Life Entertainment.
Sparsh Shrivastav (Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega), Pratibha Rant (Qurbaan Hua), and 15-year-old Nitanshi Goel will play the film’s three leads. The plot centres on three individuals and is authored by Biplab Goswami with a screenplay by Sneha Desai.
It will be co-produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, and the makers are also in talks with a top OTT platform to seal the deal.
