Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane has strongly criticised the announcement of Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal, India’s first AI-generated mythological film set for release on Hanuman Jayanti 2026. Sharing the poster on Instagram, he wrote, “And so it begins… Who TF needs writers and directors when it’s ‘Made in AI’.”
