Exclusive Advance Booking And Day One Box Office Numbers Of Akshay Kumar Starrer Ram Setu And Ajay Devgn Sidharth Starrer Thank God, Numbers Inside !

Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar will be facing a clash against each other on the big screens with their releases Thank God and Ram Setu on Oct 25th. As we broke in our exclusives, both the flicks passed with U/A certificate by the censor board with the runtimes of 144 mins for the Akshay starrer and 121 minutes for the Ajay Devgn-Siddharth Malhotra starrer.

The buzz for both the movies is decent to good, Ram Setu’s trailer and ‘Jai Shree Ram’ song got a good response while Thank God has a decent trailer and a Hindi remake of a popular song titled ‘Manike’.

Ram Setu is having an upper hand in the advance bookings, as of Monday noon, it had sold more than 15000 overall tickets in national chains and Thank God sold 13000 tickets in national chains. Picture will change quickly from late night and around morning show tomorrow.

However, the bookings for both the films couldn’t take off due to the pre-Diwali factors as expected.

Both the Diwali release will heavily depend on the spot bookings considering the holiday factor. Earlier Ram Setu was estimated to open with 14-16 cr nett while Thank God at 10-12 cr nett. But given the advanced trends that are not picking up at the expected pace, it seems both the movies will be going to perform below expectations.

As tomorrow is generally walk ins and spot bookings are huge and that’s why clear picture will emerge after first show tomorrow when reviews will be out and walk in trends will be clearer.

However, it is close to certain that both movies will take a double-digit start, as per our early estimates, Ram Setu will take a start of close to 14-15 cr nett while Thank God will open with 10 cr nett plus at the box office.
