After showing some traction over the weekend, the film struggled to maintain momentum on Day 4, indicating that weekday stability will be the key test for its theatrical run.
The Jaspal Singh Sandhu directorial, also featuring Kumud Mishra, Shilpa Shukla and Amitt Kumar, is currently playing in theatres with promotional ticketing offers in several centres. That makes the on ground footfalls an even more important metric this week, especially as new releases begin to compete for screens and shows.
Vadh 2 Box Office Day 4 Drop Signals Tough Weekdays
On its first Monday, Vadh 2 collected an estimated Rs 25 lakh nett in India, marking a significant drop from the weekend and dipping around 45 percent compared to its opening day. With that, the film’s total after four days stands at approximately Rs 2.30 crore nett.
Vadh 2 opened at Rs 50 lakh on Friday, grew to Rs 75 lakh on Saturday, peaked at Rs 80 lakh on Sunday, and then fell to Rs 25 lakh on Monday. The sharp decline suggests the film will need steady holds through Tuesday and Wednesday to avoid an early collapse, particularly because discounted pricing can inflate the headline nett figure compared to the actual revenue received.
