Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan are two of the biggest names in Bollywood. Both these actors made their debut around the same time and are now working together for the first time in Satyaprem Ki Katha. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, this romantic drama is scheduled to release on June 29. Now, ahead of the release, its run time is out in the public. According to sources, the film has a runtime of 146:02 minutes. This means that it’s around two hours and 25 minutes long.
This is quite a long duration, especially in today’s day and age. Whether this long duration will backfire is something only time will tell. However, there have been recent examples where long films have had an impact on the audience. But for that, the script and storytelling should be as engaging as possible. The runtime of the upcoming mythological epic Adipurush is 179 minutes. But that is a given considering the massive scale and genre of the story. Satya Prem Ki Katha, however, is a romantic film. This is a genre that has evolved over the years and so has the audiences.

About Satyaprem Ki Katha
Helmed by Sameer Vidwans, this upcoming romantic flick is directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, along with Shareen Kedia, and Kishor Arora. Gajraj Rao, Rajpal Yadav, Supriya Pathak, and Siddharth Randeria also have pivotal roles in the film. The film was first announced in 2012 and was titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha.
However, the makers decided to change the title to Satyaprem Ki Katha in order to avoid controversy. Recently, both Kiara and Kartik shared a wedding pic on social media from the film. Later, Kiara deleted her post after people thought she was actually married to Kartik.
