Yash is officially back in full big screen mode, and he is doing it with a clockwork rollout. The team behind Toxic has unveiled a striking new poster that doubles up as a countdown, confirming exactly when fans will get their first real taste of the film in motion.
With just a month to go for its theatrical arrival, the makers are clearly positioning Toxic as a high-voltage, festival-weekend event film, the kind of release that dominates conversation well beyond its home market.
Toxic Teaser Date And Time Confirmed With New Poster
The newly released poster announces that the Toxic teaser will drop on February 20, 2026 at 9.35 am. The film is slated to hit cinemas worldwide on March 19, 2026, landing on a Thursday and lining up with the extended festive window of Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid.
TOXIC is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, with Mohandas also directing the film. The project is produced by Venkat K Narayana (KVN Productions) and Yash under his banner Monster Mind Creations.
A major talking point remains the film’s international-facing approach. Toxic has been conceptualised, written, and shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and additional languages.
The cast list signals scale and cross-industry ambition. Alongside Yash, Toxic features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth in pivotal roles.
What We Know About The Film So Far
While the makers are keeping plot specifics tightly sealed ahead of the teaser launch, Toxic has consistently been pitched as a stylised, grown-up cinematic ride, with the subtitle A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups serving as a clear tone-setter.
The film also boasts a heavyweight technical lineup, with cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, and editing by Ujwal Kulkarni.
Yash’s Recent And Upcoming Work
Yash’s last theatrical release was KGF: Chapter 2 (2022), directed by Prashanth Neel, which emerged as a historic blockbuster and cemented his pan-India superstardom. Since then, the actor has not had a new theatrical or OTT film release, making Toxic his first on-screen outing in nearly four years.
Up next, Yash is also confirmed to play Ravana in Ramayana: Part 1, which is currently in production and is slated for a 2026 release. He is also attached to Ramayana: Part 2, dated for 2027.
