Bangarraju is a remake of the 2016 film Soggade Chinni Nayana. While Nagarjuna reprises the titular role from the prequel, Ramya Krishnan will be seen as Bangarraju’s wife Satyabhama. The film also stars Krithi Shetty, Chalapathi Rao, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore, and Jhansi.

Meanwhile, a source also revealed that Brahmastra is expected to release in September next year. “The release coincides with a partial holiday on account of Ganesh Visarjan, especially in Maharashtra. The makers sat down to discuss multiple dates and this is the one which they are targeting at the moment. An official announcement shall be made within the next few weeks,” said the source.
