Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Gill, and Sonam Bajwa starring film Honsla Rakh has beaten up Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom in the Box Office race. The film was fantastic on day two with similar numbers as day one. It seems that it will emerge as the highest grosser Punjabi film ever.
Honsla Rakh is Diljit Dosanjh’s first film as a producer, directed by Amarjit Singh Saron. Under his Story Time Productions banner, he is supporting the picture. Rakesh Dhawan wrote the screenplay.
The film’s goal will be to surpass Shadaa’s 2.43 crore nett opening in India, which is the highest for a Punjabi film.
The project will begin production in 2022, after Raj-DK completes their Shahid Kapoor series, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi.
The film is titled ‘Detective Sherdil,’ and Dosanjh will play a fumbling investigator in it. With this detective comedy-drama, Zafar’s long-time partner Ravi Chhabriya makes his directorial debut. In Budapest, the film has already begun shooting.
