About Border 2
Border 2 is a sequel to the classic 1997 film Border, which showcased the bravery of Indian soldiers during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. With a release date eyed for Republic Day 2026, the film is expected to make a significant impact, especially given its strong cast and compelling storyline.
Notably, Border 2 is set to begin filming on November 25 in North India. According to media reports, pre-production has been in the works for nearly a year.
A source revealed that director Anurag Singh and his team will commence their location scouting within the next week. The first sites selected for filming were Jammu and Srinagar. The team aims to capture authentic scenes by shooting in areas close to India’s borders, enhancing the film’s rustic feel.
