Daddy Cool is understood to be the film’s first major promotional asset, combining a song release with fresh footage from King. That makes it the audience’s first substantial look at the action thriller before the full trailer arrives later in the campaign.
The move also lines up with what Khan had told fans during his September 15, 2026 #AskSRK session on X, when a user requested that he release a song from the film. Responding then, the superstar said, “Arijit Dada is a perfectionist,” while explaining that the team was waiting for the singer to complete the final touches on the track.

The lead song has generated attention ever since Khan confirmed Arijit Singh’s involvement. Daddy Cool is sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao, giving King a high-profile musical launch right out of the gate.
