Maverick Bollywood filmmaker, Rohit Shetty’s cop action drama film Sooryavanshi has completed 1 year of its release. The Akshay Kumar-starrer hit the screens on the occasion of Diwali 2021 on November 5.
The film is already a huge hit and has already been earned in centuries. But due to the release dates of big films getting postponed and no films are happening in the theatre, the government had to take this decision.
Well, looking at the current scenario of the box office it seems like that the film is heading towards 196 cr as a final score and not touching the 200cr boundary.
The film was set out to create many milestones since its announcement and the kind of response it has received and continuing to do so, is testimony to the mind-blowing vision of Rohit Shetty.
On Tuesday, the film collected 20 lakhs more after Monday collections had stood at 24 lakhs. With this, the overall collections of the film have reached 193.80 crores.
On the sixth Monday as well the film is collecting constant business. Sooryavanshi collected 24 lacs on the sixth Monday which sums up to a total of 193.60 cr nett.
It has presently collected Rs. 193.37 crores and is attempting to reach Rs. 195 crores before moving on to the next milestone.
The entertainer has crossed the 190cr mark at the box office and is racing towards 200cr. The Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer has earned 66 lacs on its fifth Saturday with an overall collection of 192.38 cr at the India Box Office.
In the Overseas market, the film storms in Australia by collecting A$ 1.5 million [₹ 7.95 cr+] in 4 weeks, which leads to great success. In the Indian market, Sooryavanshi is roughly 9 cr back to enter the 200 cr club.
It’ll be a long road for the film to get there from here, because not only is Tadap coming out tomorrow, but Netflix will also be releasing Sooryavanshi soon.
