Fast and Furious 9 gets a new release date in India, will hit the screens on ‘this’ date, followed by Conjuring 3

Warner hopes to release this film in places where it was previously unavailable, but only in English and Hindi.

NBC Universal has released a list of films that would be released in India from August to September 2021. The bad thing is that Fast & Furious 9 has been postponed once more.

According to the source, Mortal Kombat will be the first film to be released on July 30. On April 23, when cinemas in North and West India were closed, this picture had a restricted distribution in the South. Warner hopes to release this film in places where it was previously unavailable, but only in English and Hindi.

On August 6, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will be released. The horror picture has a sizable following in India, with The Conjuring 2 grossing approximately Rs. 62 crore. The industry expects that the third installment will also be able to draw viewers to the theaters, despite the fact that it was already released in the West on June 4.

The list goes on with Promising Young Woman releasing on August 6, followed by Old on August 13, F9 on August 19, The Croods: A New Age and Nobody on August 27, The Boss Baby: Family Business on September 10, and The Forever Purge on September 17.

A trade expert tells Bollywood Hungama, “How long could have Warner waited? There are many other films of Warner Bros and even of other studios that have already been released in the West since the situation there is close to normal. Even here, the cases are in control and here’s hoping the release and success of these films would put pressure on the governments of Maharashtra and Delhi to open up cinemas. Then, even Akshay Kumar’s Bellbottom can arrive in theatres soon.”
