Akshay Kumar Starrer OMG 2 To Release In Cinemas On 11th August, New Poster Is Out!

Akshay Kumar is known for prioritizing quantity over quality as he does around 5-6 films in a year, more than any other A-list star. One of the most well-received films of his career has to be the 2012’s OMG! Oh My God. The film, which talked about the fake godmen, was a major critical and commercial success. Akshay will be now seen in its much-anticipated sequel, OMG 2.

Now, the makers have released a new poster of the film featuring Akshay with long hair, dressed as Lord Shiva. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Akshay took to his social media handles to share the new poster. OMG 2 is scheduled to release theatrically on 11 August this year.

Written and directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, and Arun Govil. It will tackle the issues in the Indian education system. On the ticket window, OMG 2 will face competition with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which is also a sequel.

There were rumors floating on the internet earlier that the film has been shelved. However, fans are delighted to know that this is not true and the film will be out on its scheduled date. Last year, the makers released a poster where Akshay was also dressed as Lord Shiva.
