Ganapath is one of Tiger’s most eagerly anticipated films. It’s pure commercial entertainment, a real delight for Bollywood fans. It also stars Kriti Sanon in the major role, marking Tiger’s return to the big screen after Heropanti. The project is expected to grow bigger since Amitabh Bachchan has been approached to play a key role in the film.
Tiger Shroff is set to portray a boxer in the film, and if reports are to be believed, Amitabh Bachchan has been contacted to play Tiger’s father, who was also a boxer in his youth. However, Big B has yet to give a nod to the film, and dates and formalities are still being worked out.
Ganapath, directed by Vikas Bahl, is set to hit theatres on December 23, 2022.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan recently received accolades from an NGO for declining to participate in a pan masala advertisement. The National Organization For Tobacco Eradication (NOTE), an anti-cigarettes organisation, had written to the veteran actor in September, requesting that he resign from an endorsement campaign for a ‘pan masala’ brand, stating that his withdrawal would help wean kids away from tobacco.
