Awarapan 2 Security Beefed Up After Emraan Hashmi Look Leaked Online: Makers Restrict Phone Access On Rajasthan Sets, Fast Track Shoot Amid Pakistani Composer Rumours

What was supposed to be a controlled build up to the sequel of the cult classic Awarapan has turned into damage control for the makers. After unauthorized images and videos from the Awarapan 2 shoot surfaced online, the team has swiftly moved to restrict access and tighten security. The leaked visuals revealed Emraan Hashmi‘s altered look from the film, causing major concern within the production unit.

According to sources close to the production, security has been significantly increased at filming locations in and around Sambhar, Rajasthan. The images that went viral within hours were never meant to come out so early in the promotional campaign.

Phones Now Restricted On Set After Leak

The look reveal was never meant to come out this early, according to an insider. After the photos were leaked, access had to be tightened immediately. Phones are now restricted on set, and movement around the location is being closely monitored. Certain areas have been cordoned off completely to prevent any further unauthorized access.

Multiple terrace sequence videos were leaked by locals who had access to vantage points near the shooting location. This forced the production team to take strict measures to ensure no more content gets out before the official announcements.

Film Features Emraan Hashmi And Disha Patani

The movie features Emraan Hashmi returning as Shivam Pandit, the character he played in the original film. Disha Patani joins the cast in a key role, while Shabana Azmi is expected to play the villain. This casting combination has already generated significant buzz among fans who loved the original film.

The clampdown on security comes at a sensitive time for the film. The production is already facing online scrutiny over rumours that a Pakistani music composer is associated with the soundtrack.

Team Denies Pakistani Composer Controversy

Sources close to the film have denied the rumours about the Pakistani composer. The team wants the content to speak, not controversies, according to insiders. Music is integral to the film, and Pritam had done the original score for Awarapan. The producers are mindful of the law of the land and are baffled by the rumours circulating online.

The team has made it clear that they are following all guidelines and there is no truth to the speculation. They want to focus on completing the shoot and delivering a quality product to audiences.

Shoot Fast Tracked To Wrap Within A Week

In response to the leaks and the security concerns, the shoot has been fast tracked. The team will now wrap this Rajasthan schedule within a week, much faster than originally planned. Local police have been deployed for protection to ensure smooth completion of the remaining scenes.

This decision to speed up the shoot shows how seriously the makers are taking the security situation. They want to minimize the chances of any further leaks by reducing the time spent at the current location.
