Rajkummar Rao gears up for his much-anticipated film release of 2024, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. With this film, he takes a nostalgic trip back to the ’90s. Leading the pack in this social comedy set in the era of cassette tapes and baggy jeans, Rao recently concluded an extensive shoot schedule in the picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand.
Under the direction of Raaj Shaandilyaa, known for his quick project turnarounds, the cast, including leading lady Triptii Dimri, wrapped up the Uttarakhand leg of filming last week. Now, as they prepare for a final 10-day stint in Mumbai, the excitement builds as the project nears completion.

The movie, which kicked off production in late January with stars like Mallika Sherawat and Vijay Raaz, follows the chaos that ensues in a small town when a couple’s private video tape mysteriously disappears. After the scandal, the couple seeks help in Mumbai.
A source close to the production told Mid-day, “Raaj likes to keep things brisk. While much of the comedy was captured against the stunning backdrop of Rishikesh and Dehradun, Mumbai is set to host the final scenes, including dramatic moments in locales like south Mumbai, Mira Road, Film City, and Madh Island.”
Exciting scenes are planned in places like a hospital on Grant Road and a cemetery. Producer Bhushan Kumar expressed excitement about finishing the Uttarakhand shoot on time and looking forward to filming in Mumbai.
