Sita Ramam actor Dulquer Salmaan is gearing up to make a grand comeback to Malayalam cinema. Amidst growing anticipation from his Malayalam fanbase, Salmaan is reportedly collaborating with Nahas Hidhayath who directed the 2023 blockbuster RDX.
According to recent reports, Salmaan and Hidhayath are in talks to work together on an upcoming project. It is rumoured that Hidhayath is impressed by Salmaan’s work and has pitched an exciting script to the actor. Dulquer Salmaan has also shown keen interest in the project.
Dulquer Salmaan To Also Produce His Comeback Malayalam Film?
According to the reports, this untitled film is currently in its scripting phase. It is expected to commence production towards the end of 2024. Sources close to the project reveal that Salmaan, under his banner Wayfarer Films, will be producing the project. He wishes to create quality content in Malayalam cinema.
While an official announcement is yet to be made, insiders suggest that both Salmaan and Hidhayath are focused on finalising the script before revealing further details about the project. It’s speculated that Hidhayath will prioritize this collaboration over his other commitments, showcasing the significance of this partnership.
Salmaan’s return to Malayalam cinema comes amidst eager anticipation from his local audience, who have been longing to see the actor grace the screens in his home industry once again.

Dulquer Salmaan’s last appearance was in King Of Kotha, a gangster thriller that performed moderately at the box office. Reports suggest that Salmaan intends to be more selective about his Malayalam film choices, opting for quality over quantity.
He is rumoured to be joining forces once again with actor-director Soubin Shahir for Shahir’s upcoming directorial project titled Othiram Kadakam.
