Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been chosen to play the lead role in the upcoming remake of the 1988 film Tezaab, according to recent reports. The official announcement is expected soon. The film’s producer, Murad Khetani, had acquired the remake rights of the film in 2021. Earlier this year, there were rumors that Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor were in advanced discussions with the makers to feature in the remake. However, as per the latest update, Kartik Aaryan seems to have pipped Ranveer Singh to clinch the title role in the Tezaab remake.
Kartik Aaryan Denies Tezaab Remake
Kartik Aaryan denied that he is NOT doing Tezaab remake after log of rumours came out today.
Initially, the makers of the Tezaab remake were considering Ranveer Singh for the role of Anil Kapoor in the remake. However, due to certain reasons, the makers have now decided to approach Janhvi Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for the same roles. The original film starred Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles and was directed by N. Chandra. It was the top-grossing film in Bollywood in 1988.
Kartik Aaryan is currently one of the most bankable actors in the industry, having proved his acting prowess over the years. He has recently starred in successful films such as Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The producers of the Tezaab remake were reportedly looking for a reliable name and a fresh pairing for the film. If things work out, they would like to bank on Shraddha Kapoor and Kartik because they haven’t yet shared screen space together.
Kartik Aaryan Spotted Shooting For Satyaprem Ki Katha
ETimes paps exclusively spotted Kartik Aaryan as he was shooting for his upcoming movie Satyaprem Ki Katha in the city. Satyaprem Ki Katha is an upcoming Hindi film that stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advaniin lead roles. The film is a musical love story produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson (NGE) in collaboration with Namah Pictures. The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans. The shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha is yet to begin, and the rest of the cast is yet to be announced.
A leaked video from the set of Satyaprem Ki Katha is doing the rounds of social media. The video is from a wedding scene where Kartik and Kiara’s characters are taking pheras on a mandap. The actors looked quite emotional in the leaked video. Kartik is dressed in an ivory sherwani with a golden pagdi, while Kiara is dressed in a similar-colored lehenga with a red dupatta on her shoulder.
