Exclusive: 6th Day Box Office Collection Of Salman Khan Starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Big Drop Restricts Week One To 93 Cr Nett Only

Produced by Zee Studios and Salman Khan Films, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ released on 21st April on Eid. Film has Pooja Hegde opposite Salman Khan and south superstar Venkatesh in an important role. In addition this, bunch of newcomers will be making their big screen debut with this film including Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Sidharth Nigam. It marks comeback of superstar on silver screen post pandemic.

Film released in more than 4500 screens in India and 1200 screens overseas with more than 16,000 shows in India alone.

Salman Khan starrer opened to mixed reviews but still Salman Khan’s stardom has ensured some sort of opening. Film has opened to 10-15% opening because of dull Pre Eid period. Film didn’t grow much throughout the day one. Film managed to cross 15.81 cr nett on day one which is way lower than ‘Pathaan’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’.

Film crossed 25.56 cr nett on day two as film grew all over in range of 75-80% in national chains. Single screens were on riot as expected on Eid. Holiday edge has done the job and now it’s up to content from Tuesday or so onwards.

On Sunday again film was expected to grow big but film failed to do so. Though Sunday don’t tend to grow much lately so this stable or marginal growth is not a bad result. Film crossed 26.61 cr nett on day three with 3% growth over Saturday.

Film crossed 68.17 cr nett over weekend which is just 23% more than day one business of Shah Rukh Khan’ ‘Pathaan’. Film has scored 5th biggest weekend in post pandemic times, behind ‘Pathaan’, ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ and TJMM. This tells dominance of SRK film in post pandemic era. To justify the stardom, KKBKKJ needs to cross at least ‘Bhool Bhullaiya 2’ (185.92 cr nett) lifetime number, if not ‘Drishyam 2’ (240.54 cr nett) number.

Salman Khan Starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Drops Further On Wednesday:

Film was expected to drop on Monday but to be fair drop was not big. But hold was not great either. It was an average drop of 36% which means film should collect close to 10.17 cr nett on Monday. As expected big drop came on Tuesday, film dropped by 35% and collected around 6.12 cr nett. Film further dropped by 25% on Wednesday and collected 4.60 cr nett.

Film will have total of 89.06 cr nett after 6 days and it should cross 93 cr nett in 1st week. Film is not upto the mark in urban centres and multiplexes. Now the real struggle starts for the film as holiday advantage has gone out and now content has taken over stardom. 2nd Friday will decide whether film can cross 150 cr nett lifetime around TJMM’s figure or it will wrap below 130-140 cr nett.
