Kill Box Office Collection Day 7: Lakshya’s Action Thriller Maintains Momentum & Nets Rs 11.36 Cr; Set To Stay Afloat In 2nd Week Too

Kill starring Lakshya and Raghav Juyal is perfroming exceptionally at the box office and has collected Rs 10.14 cr in 6 days.

Karan Johar and Guneet Monga‘s latest action thriller, Kill, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, has made an impressive debut at the Indian box office. Starring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala, the film marks Lakshya’s first venture into the film industry.

The movie’s success can be attributed to its gripping action sequences and positive word-of-mouth buzz. Kill was the sole release this week after Neeraj Pandey’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was postponed at the request of distributors and exhibitors. Despite competition from the much-anticipated pan-India release of Kalki 2898 AD, Kill showed remarkable growth over the weekend and continued to perform solidly during the weekdays.

Kill Box Office Collection Remains Steady On Day 6

On its opening day, Friday, Kill earned Rs 1.35 crore. The film saw a 60% increase in earnings on Saturday, raking in Rs 2.20 crore. The momentum continued on Sunday with marginal growth, collecting Rs 2.70 crore. This brought the film’s three-day weekend total to Rs 6.25 crore nett in India.

Kill maintained its strong performance into the weekdays, collecting Rs 1.30 crore nett on Monday, almost matching its opening day earnings. The film continued to draw audiences, bringing in Rs 1.35 crore nett on Tuesday and Rs 1.24 crore nett on Wednesday. This impressive consistency resulted in a six-day total of Rs 10.14 crore nett.

Industry analysts predict that Kill will maintain its solid hold throughout the weekdays and is expected to cross Rs 11.50 crore nett by the end of its first week. The film is set to continue its solo run until Friday, 12 July, when it will face new competition from Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru remake Sarfira, starring Akshay Kumar, and Shankar’s action epic Indian 2, featuring Kamal Haasan.

Kill has caught the public’s eye with its gripping storyline, mostly set on a train. Lionsgate Pictures has secured the distribution rights for North America. It premiered on over 1,000 screens there on 4 July, aligning with American Independence Day.
