Yash Raj Films’ film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayengereleased 28 years ago and is still running successfully in Maratha Mandir cinema in Mumbai continuously since then. Film established Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as iconic couple of cinema and made SRK the biggest superstar around the world.
Fondly called DDLJ, the 1995 film marked the directorial debut of filmmaker Yash Chopra’s son Aditya Chopra. Film went on to become all time blockbuster and started whole NRI centric cinema wave for next 15 years or so.
Right from its release in 1995 to about March 2020, the film ran every day at Maratha Mandir. In March 2020 the theatres were shut due to Covid-19 restrictions. The film resumed screening in November 2020 when the Maharashtra state government permitted the theatres to open up to 50 per cent capacity.
Similarly Shah Rukh and YRF delivered many blockbusters over three decades starting from Darr, DDLJ, Dil To Paagal Hai, Veer Zaara, Chak De India, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Mohabbatein, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Fan and Pathaan.
YRF Extends SRK’s Classics’ Nostalgia Film Festival By One More Week On Public Demand
Today YRF shared a post where they announced extension of Nostalgia festival of Shah Rukh Khan’s four cult classic films in various PVR, Inox and Cinepolis screens between 15th February – 22nd February at the price of ₹ 112. Festival was started from 19th January for one week is now extended to six weeks, on huge public demand due to healthy turnout.

Recent Work Of Shah Rukh Khan
Back in 2018, we saw SRK in the comedy-drama film Zero with Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol, R. Madhavan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and many others. After the film, he made multiple cameo appearances in movies like Laal Singh Chaddha and Brahmāstra before returning to the big screen with a bang with Pathaan in 2023.
He delivered three blockbusters Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki in 2023 with more than 2700 crore worldwide gross and 8.50 crore footfalls. These all are all time record in history of Hindi cinema.
