Analysis

The cinematography by DOP Marcin Laskawiec is fine and does justice to scenes, including the storyline. The dialogues could have been stronger than simple. The placement of important flashback scenes has to be relooked in a better way.

Verdict

Jogi is forced to shorten his hair to conceal the identity. Later, he gets to wear his turban again in the agonizing moment. It gives Diljit a great amount of time to display his acting skills. The Punjabi actor and singer had made Diljit gradually shift to Bollywood. Hiten is often known for ‘righteous man’ image or villain but the grey character is refreshing. The end could have been with sweet notes or scenes as the whole movie emphasises on massacre.
