The movie is inspired by real-life events and is based on a book called ‘Escape to Nowhere’, written by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan.
Anurag Basu, a filmmaker, said earlier this week that “Metro… In Dino,” an anthology of four stories examining contemporary love and relationships, would be released. The movie is a spiritual successor to Basu’s beloved Life In A Metro and stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
However, the revival of the 2007 film is a treat to fans.
