Brahmastra is a three-part fantasy trilogy in the works. Karan Johar is in charge of the production. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam are the five languages in which the film will be released.
“I don’t think any film in India can match up to Sholay, if we literally convert the number to this year. The numbers just keep growing and you keep chasing them. I never did that in my entire career,” says Nagarjuna.
Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.
Yesterday Amitabh Bachchan had released the first poster of the film and as announced earlier by the team, the release date has finally announced today and the film is all set to release on 9th September 2021.
Meanwhile, a source also revealed that Brahmastra is expected to release in September next year. “The release coincides with a partial holiday on account of Ganesh Visarjan, especially in Maharashtra. The makers sat down to discuss multiple dates and this is the one which they are targeting at the moment. An official announcement shall be made within the next few weeks,” said the source.
The magnum opus will release theatrically across 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia & Mouni Roy is said to be released on September 9, 2022.
