Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra released on September 9 starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan. Moviegoers have applauded the film and performances, especially on VFX, Shah Rukh’s cameo appearance in a large dark room. The film performed well at the Box-office with Rs 266 cr as collections and landed on Disney+ Hotstar on November 4, 2022.
Many on the microblogging site Twitter stated that they should have watched Brahmastra in theatres, instead of following the Boycott Gang. The OTT release is seen as a welcome and embraced move.
