‘Brahmastra’ Director Ayan Says He Was All Set To Release The Face Of The Mysterious Character “Dev” In Part 1

The internet is totally filled with numerous articles, videos and fan theories about who is going to be the Dev in Brahmastra who will be the actor.

The worldwide success of Brahmastra has given the makers the confidence to explore Ayan Mukerji’s Astraverse and make multiple films in different timelines with the characters introduced in the first part. Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji revealed that he and his team have thought about the actor who plays Dev and almost planned a face reveal at the end of Part One.

From Shah Rukh, Ranveer To Hrithik, Netizens just did every possible research. But the maker just kept it hidden and the biggest news is that Ayan planned to reveal the face in part one.

The maker as per Hindustan Times revealed, “The conversation, the vision, and the actor for Part Two Dev were very developed by around 2019. There was a point at which in the middle of making Part One, we really found the time to start pursuing this whole Dev vision. The real Brahmastra story and conflict come alive in Part Two. In terms of Dev, I will go out on a limb and say he is possibly the most exciting character that I will be taking on in my career so far. I am extremely thrilled about the potential of Dev and I hope things align for us in the next three years in a way where we can be able to give you guys in our minds for this.”

“In the first part the face is not revealed but it was all set to reveal the actor. To be honest, for a long time, we were going to end the film with even the face reveal of Dev’s character. It was with a lot of thought and a desire to create some curiosity in the minds of the audiences that we ended the film where we did,” Ayan added.
