As per early estimates, the film should collect 3.40-3.65 cr nett on day one which is below last week’s release Tadap which had a relatively new cast.
The film opened to 15% occupancy today but the film was only strong in Delhi/Punjab and was super slow all over.
The 117-minute romantic comedy is packed with comedic punches, making it a lighthearted drama with a serious issue aimed at educating the audience
As the film gears up for a theatrical release, we have learnt that under the ‘Special Thanks’ credit in the beginning of the film, superstar Aamir Khan has found a mention.
The film has now been approved for theatrical release with a UA certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. The overall film will be running for 177 minutes [1 hour, 57 minutes] in the theatre.
Apart from Ayushmann and Vaani, the film also stars Abhishek Bajaj, Kanwaljit Singh, Gourav Sharma, Yograj Singh, and Aanjjan Srivastav.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor’s upcoming film, ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ has just released its title track and it shows the best Punjabi version of the actor.
The film depicts a modern-day love story, with Ayushmann playing a cross-functional athlete and Vaani portraying a transgender character.
According to the first look video, the actor will portray a fitness enthusiast in the film, with Vaani serving as his love interest.
Billed as a “progressive love story”, Khurrana will be seen essaying the role of a cross functional athlete in the film.
