Ayushmann’s movies like Bala, Dreamgirl, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan & its sequel were hits. Post that, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (28.26 cr nett) Anek (8.15 cr nett), Doctor G (26.45 cr nett) didn’t perform well at the Box-office.

From here, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor film can’t anticipate much, as the Hollywood blockbuster has taken over the country, and the South is already ruled by Pushpa.
The film earned 2.05 crores more on Wednesday, which is a reasonable hold compared to the 2.18 crores it earned on Tuesday.
However, despite being a well-made film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is somehow bearing the brunt of it as fans pick and choose their films and make up their minds for the actual big-screen fiesta this extended weekend.
This isn’t surprising because, while Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui grew on Saturday and Sunday, it wasn’t to the amount that pre-pandemic multiplex movies did.
Major difference from past releases of Ayushmann was that this film was not targeted on mass centers or family audience.
Hrithik Roshan took his Twitter handle to put up his review for the film and well wishes for the team of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
Today the film is set to score even better numbers with metros coming on board in addition to solid numbers in Delhi/Punjab belt.
As of now Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is below par at box office and Monday holds the key for its final outcome.

As per early estimates, the film should collect 3.40-3.65 cr nett on day one which is below last week’s release Tadap which had a relatively new cast.
