There appears to be Spider-Man: Far More Home craze going on right now. While one waits for the film to go on a cinematic spree, there is Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which is currently collecting in select theatres across the country. The film earned 2.05 crores more on Wednesday, which is a reasonable hold compared to the 2.18 crores it earned on Tuesday.
The film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor has now grossed 20.91 crores and is expected to surpass 25 crores till weekend. Since Spider-Man: No Way Home took over from here, it’ll be interesting to see how much it collects.
Though the Abhishek Kapoor-directed Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui was predicted to gross at least 30 crores, it may only manage to reach 25 crores. The situation would have been different if not for the arrival of the Marvel superhero film.

However, despite being a well-made film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is somehow bearing the brunt of it as fans pick and choose their films and make up their minds for the actual big-screen fiesta this extended weekend.
