Ayushmann Khurrana-Vaani Kapoor starrer Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui released last weekend across 1200 screens. Film was targeted at urban centres and it was such first release in post pandemic time.

Film collected 3.75 cr nett on Friday as it was slow opening all over. Film grew by 30% on Saturday and collected 4.87 cr nett. Film further grew by 21% on Sunday and collected 5.91 cr nett.
The movie has total of 14.53 cr nett over weekend which was strictly average considering expectation and past record of Ayushmann at box office.
Major difference from past releases of Ayushmann was that this film was not targeted on mass centers or family audience.

Film might find tough on weekdays to hold as trend is not that strong. But film is applauded for its brave subject and handling it with lot of sensitivity.
