There appears to be Spider-Man: Far More Home craze going on right now. While one waits for the film to go on a cinematic spree, there is Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which is currently collecting in select theatres across the country. The film earned 2.18 crores more on Tuesday, which is a reasonable hold compared to the 2.15 crores it earned on Monday.

Given a just-about-fair opening day of 3.75 crores and a nearly six-day week, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is expected to gross around 2 crores, but something in the neighbourhood of 2.5-3 crores would have been a better bet.
The film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor has now grossed 18.86 crores and is expected to surpass 20 crores today. Since Spider-Man: No Way Home should take over from there, it’ll be interesting to see how much it collects.
Though the Abhishek Kapoor-directed Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui was predicted to gross at least 30 crores, it may only manage to reach 25 crores. The situation would have been different if not for the arrival of the Marvel superhero film.

However, despite being a well-made film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is somehow bearing the brunt of it as fans pick and choose their films and make up their minds for the actual big-screen fiesta this extended weekend.
