Today sequel ‘Mardaani 2’ released around 1560 screens all over the country. Film is baaed on current issues going on in country and that makes it relevant.
Film opened 10-15% opening and it did improve through the day as it was multiplex film anyways plus good reviews did help. Film got stiff competition from Hollywood release though other Bollywood release ‘The Body’ faired very badly.
As per early estimates, film collected 3.80 cr nett on day one which is fair result as it will grow over weekend.
