Himesh Reshammiya is back on the big screen after five years with his 10th Bollywood film Badass Ravi Kumar. The 51-year-old actor last appeared in Happy Hardy and Heer (2020). Now, he is grabbing attention at the box office with this action-comedy.
Advance Booking Of Badass Ravi Kumari Is A Way Higher Than Loveyapa
Advance bookings of the film have been impressive, with 4,200 tickets sold across PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis (as of 12 pm) for the opening day.
Within just 24 hours of opening on Tuesday evening, over 12,100 tickets were snapped up. The strong buzz from the trailer, promising pure entertainment, has sparked excitement. If the momentum continues, the film could sell 40,000 tickets in national chains and open to around Rs. 5.75-6 crore at the box office followed by 20 crore weekend.
Meanwhile, the other major release of the week is Loveyapa. This film starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor is struggling in advance sales. It has yet to reach 1,000 tickets across the top three chains. The stark difference in numbers shows that Badass Ravi Kumar is way ahead before even hitting theatres.

Himesh Reshammiya’s Film To Badly Beat Loveyapa At The BO
The film’s light-hearted, action-packed tone, mixed with spoof elements connect with audiences. In comparison, Loveyapa is a remake and faces the usual challenge of living up to the original. This seems to be affecting its buzz and ticket sales.
While there’s still time for Loveyapa to pick up, Badass Ravi Kumar is already the clear front-runner. Its quirky appeal is winning over moviegoers, while Loveyapa struggles to generate the same excitement.
As the weekend approaches, Badass Ravi Kumarlooks set to lead the box office, marking a strong return for Himesh Reshammiya.
For the unversed, Hollywood film Interstellar (re-release) and Naga Chaitanya’s South movie Thandel will also compete with Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar at the box office.
