Ayushmann Khurrana is on all time high with one hit after another that too with films which are getting rave reviews too. He has mastered combination of box office and critical acclaim. In span of two months, he is back with another hit after ‘Dreamgirl’.
‘Bala’ opened in 3000 screens in India and 550 screens overseas. This is biggest release ever for an Ayushmann Khurrana film. Film started little slower than last Ayushmann release ‘Dreamgirl’ primarily because of inferior music. Film picked up from second show onwards itself and evening saw big jumps in metros especially.
Film collected 10.15 cr nett on day one which was highest opening for actor. Film got little affected with Ayodhya verdict as theatres in north were shut. Still film jumped big 45% and collected 15.73 cr nett.
Film has two day total of 25.88 cr nett and will have fabulous weekend of around 43 cr nett from here with normal growth. Such a weekend collection makes it a hit on day one itself.
It has got very positive reviews from critics and this it is here to stay in cinemas for a month or so. It’s another hit from Ayushmann and his dream run at box office continues.
