Nikamma, a remake of Nani’s Telugu film MCA (Middle Class Abbayi), has underwhelmed critics. The film, which marked Shilpa Shetty’s return to the big screen, had a terrible first day of release at the box office. It barely brought in Rs 51 lakh. The second and third day collections of the film were disastrous too. The critics were also harsh on the film. Nikamma didn’t do well in its debut weekend in theaters, either. In addition to Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia, Nikamma has Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia in lead roles.

Film will struggle to cross 3.5-4 cr nett lifetime. Nikamma isn’t the only film destined for failure at the box office; Aditya Roy Kapur’s OM and Vidyut Jammwal’s Khuda Haafiz 2 are two upcoming action films that will also fail miserably at the box office.
The combined business of all three films will be less than 25 cr against the budget of 75 cr plus p & a.
Hence these will be the biggest action disasters within 3 weeks’ time.
Starring Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi, Khuda Haafiz 2 is an action thriller film written and directed by Faruk Kabir. Khuda Haafiz 2 will hit the big screens on July 8.
On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Om will arrive on 1st July and is produced by Ahmed Khan who delivered the disaster Heropanti 2 as director. Along with Aditya Roy Kapur, actress Sanjana Sanghi and Prakash Raj will also be seen playing lead roles in this film. Debutant Kapil Verma is the director of this film.
