Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master released across the globe. On its first day, the film collected 1.21 crore at the box office in Chennai.
Considering that the theatres’ occupancy is now oy 50 percentage, this is a huge amount overall. On day 2, the movie made Rs 23.5 crore plus (Rs 19 crore nett).
Vijay’s film is also taking over the Telugu market by receiving an outstanding response from the audience as well as critics.
The film collected 81 crore in Tamil Nadu, 14 crore in Karnataka while the film did a business of 7.5 crore in Kerala.
