Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2 have just been released this Friday. The film was predicted to start on an average note with collections in the Rs. 4-5 crore range, considering it was a sequel to the prior release in 2005. However, unfortunately, the film has managed to make only 2.60 cr on its opening day.

Not only a low score at the box office, but the film also received a lot of not-so-good reviews. Apart from the opening, the film witnessed a very low number on its first Sunday. BAB2 collected 3.20 cr on its first Sunday which sums up to a total collection of 8.30 cr in three days.

Indeed, the Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi, which is on its third weekend, is projected to do better than the new movie. According to trade projections, Sooryavanshi will not only outperform Bunty Aur Babli 2 during the weekend but will also outperform the new release during the week.
