Badhaai Do is sequel to sleeper hit Badhaai Ho and Rajkummar Rao gets into shows of Ayushmann Khurrana. Film is kind of marking restart of cinemas.
The film was always set to struggle with trailer which depicts the world of LGBTQ. This subject might find takers on OTT platforms but cinemas rejected Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui few months back so this film is certain to struggle.
As per early trends, film should collect not more than 2 cr nett on day one and that means a really rocky road ahead.

The film is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. Apart from Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao, it also stars Seema Pahwa and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal parts. Amit Trivedi, Khamosh Shah, and Tanishk Bagchi composed the film’s music, which is produced under the umbrella of Junglee Pictures.
