The latest film starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar garnered a lacklustre response at the box office. While the movie started slowly, it picked up steam around Valentine’s Day. Since Monday, however, the daily collection has plummeted. Early estimates put the week’s box office at Rs 20 crore. On February 11, Badhaai Do was released in a limited number of theatres.
Badhaai Do is performing well at the box office. The film is mostly attracting audiences in metro areas, particularly in the Delhi NCR region.
The film has now grossed a total of Rs. 12.60 crores after collecting 81 lakhs on Thursday.
The film is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. Apart from Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao, it also stars Seema Pahwa and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal parts. Amit Trivedi, Khamosh Shah, and Tanishk Bagchi composed the film’s music, which is produced under the umbrella of Junglee Pictures.
