Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera has released worldwide today. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles.

The film had decent advances over the weekend but the crucial Wednesday and Thursday didn’t work out for the film. Shamshera sold under whelming tickets and will remain below par on opening day.

As per early trend, film has opened to 20% occupancy and it has to improve to 45-50% in order to have some impact. Film will struggle to cross 9.50-10 cr nett day one unless something dramatic happens. Now weekend becomes more important as big jumps only can take film to close to 40 cr nett weekend which is bare minimum target for film to achieve in order to have shot on 75 cr nett lifetime.
Seems like another film bombing at box office!
