Ranveer Singh starrer 83 released on Christmas has failed to meet box office expectations almost immediately after its release. The sports drama biopic appears to be nearing the end of its theatrical run. With sky-high expectations crashing down like ninepins, film will end its run with disappointing numbers.

Following are the numbers for two weeks –
Week 1 – 71.87 cr nett
Week 2 – 25.13 cr nett
83 has earned 75 lacs on 3rd Friday followed by 1.10 cr nett on its 3rd Saturday. The Indian box office tally for 16 days is now 98.85 cr nett. Despite the fact that there is no new competition in theatres, the film is nearing the end of its theatrical run.

Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, and others star in the film, which is directed by Kabir Khan. Deepika Padukone makes a guest appearance. It was released on December 24, 2021.
