John Abraham starrer sequel Satyameva Jayate 2 released today on Thursday to get one day extra against Salman Khan starrer Antim. Film released in 2500 screens in India and in 1000 screens overseas.

Film started around 25-30% occupancy on day one morning which is not bad considering a working day release. Film is for masses and a cliche 80’s type action drama so it will not do that well in urban centres and high end multiplexes.

Film has collected less than 3 cr nett on day one which has shocked the industry. This is shocker for industry as ‘paid’ reviews and fake buzz resulted in such dismal numbers. It’s a disaster and will be further dented today with release of Antim. So called massy film met with its ultimate fate and rejected by masses.
