The film has shows starting as early as 4 am – 5 am today and that has somehow offset 50% occupancy disadvantage, especially in Maharashtra. Also, the film’s ticket price is going as steep as 2400 and the average ticket price must be around 400-500. Despite such high prices, the film is almost full to capacity on day one and it has a healthy number of tickets sold for the weekend.
The film was huge in the south as Pushpa will arrive tomorrow and dent its collection and even multiplexes in small towns were almost full. All 11 Imax properties were housefull throughout the day.
As per the early estimates, it’s certain that film will cross 35 cr nett on day one (if not 37 cr nett) as it will also become the highest opener beating 26.50 cr nett of Sooryavanshi’s opening.

This proves that audiences don’t care about pandemics or the ticket price of the film if it has content to excite them.
Overall huge 110-120 cr nett weekend will be a huge relief to cinemas. A sure-shot blockbuster!
