The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, was released in theatres on March 4, as was Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan. Unfortunately, compared to Robert Pattinson’s superhero film, Big B’s film has underperformed at the box office. While The Batman had a successful first weekend, Jhund had a disappointing one.
The film directed by Nagraj Manjule barely made Rs 9 crore nett. The Batman, on the other hand, has made the cash registers ring with its nett collection of almost Rs 26.25 crore.

On Saturday and Sunday, Jhund saw a slight increase in attendance, but not enough to warrant a significant box office haul. Maharashtra accounted up the majority of the film’s revenue. The collections outside of Maharashtra were a “disaster,” and despite positive reviews, footfall was low.
