Despite strong competition from films such as Bachchhan Paandey, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and RRR, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files held its own at the box office. However, the film’s box office run is now over, and its statistics are starting to go down. It reportedly made Rs 0.65 crore on Day 28, which was lower than the prior days. On Thursday, April 7, it had an overall Hindi occupancy of 11.62 percent. The Kashmir Files is a multi-award-winning hit. With the rate the picture, which was budgeted at roughly Rs 30 crore, was performing, even a figure of Rs 350 crore seemed feasible. In its third and fourth weeks, however, the film did not hold up as well as one might have hoped.

The total collection of the film now stands at 248.23.

The Kashmir Files is based on the experiences of Kashmiri pandits during the insurgency in Kashmir in 1990. The Kashmir Genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit Community is based on video interviews with the first generation victims of the genocide. It’s a heartbreaking story about Kashmiri pandits’ anguish, suffering, struggle, and trauma, as well as eye-opening facts about democracy, religion, politics, and humanity.
