Jugjugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor was marketed heavily by Dharma Productions and it had a wide release on 3300 screens. But despite glowing reviews and heavy PR marketing, the film failed to cross double-digit on day one which was less than Samrat Prithviraj, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
The film managed some sort of growth over the weekend and collected 36.93 cr nett which was still below par. It dropped on Monday by 45% and collected 4.72 cr nett only.
Today again film dropped further by 15% and collected 4.10 cr nett.
JJJ has a 5-day total of 45.85 cr nett which is below average and film is heading for 52 cr nett in week one. The film will struggle to cross 75 cr nett lifetime which is below par result.
JugJugg Jeeyo is directed by Raj Mehta and is bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. The film features an ensemble cast that includes, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor along with Manish Paul and YouTube sensation, Prajakta Koli, who will be making her Bollywood debut.
