Salman Khan starrer RADHE released today worldwide in cinemas and on ott. Film has got poor reviews across the board not only from critics but from trade experts too. Salman’s film do not depend on reviews but generally receive thumbs up from trade expert but its not happened this time around.
Film released like a normal release in Singapore market with all the screens functioning. Film was allowed only 50% occupancy so comparing the collections would be unfair yardstick but we can compare occupancy in real terms to get a clearer picture.
Film was released in all 12 screens (as shown in the picture above) and these are the same number of cinemas where DABANGG 3, BHARAT and ZERO released. Film received average response with occupancy hovering around 35-40% for first two shows. Following is the comparison for these releases on day one morning :
With poor reviews pouring in and availability of film on OTT, overseas business of the film looks tough at the moment. Unless holiday weekend in Dubai and opening of cinemas in UK turn the tide for the film. Seems like a case of bad content which fails to revive overseas market.
