On August 11, 2022, the audience will have a difficult time choosing between two big films: Raksha Bandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha. While the first film, featuring Akshay Kumar, is rumored to be highly emotional, the second film, starring Aamir Khan, is an official version of the Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump. But the question is which of the two movies will eventually grab the lead. Which of these two movies, Raksha Bandhan or Laal Singh Chaddha, will users watch first on August 11?
When comparing the two movies’ box office performances, Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, would likely debut between 23 and 26 cr nett on day one across 2800-3200 screens. Raksha Bandhan, starring Akshay Kumar, will nett over 10 cr on its first day of releasing over 2000–2200 screens.
Content will take center stage on day two, but day one is clearly in Aamir Khan’s favor.
Overall, both movies have a good chance of succeeding because they both have access to a long five-day weekend, with Rakshabandhan and Independence Day happening on Thursday, August 11, and Monday, August 15, respectively.

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, on the other hand, has been produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni.
