Ayushmann Khurrana’s much-anticipated film Anek is due to hit theatres tomorrow (May 27), following Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Following their 2015 blockbuster Article 15, this is Ayushmann’s second collaboration with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha.
Because the filmmakers have kept their promotions to a minimum, it appears that they are relying primarily on their content to draw audiences to the theatres.
Anek is expected to make an opening collection of Rs 3.75 crore, based on early indications. The Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer may witness an increasing trend in its box office if the film turns out to be good, with glowing reviews and positive word of mouth.

In addition, Anek will face stiff competition from Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which is currently enjoying a fantastic run at the box office and is on its way to crossing the 100 cr milestone.
Anek is a film about an undercover spy on a mission to restore peace in India’s north-eastern area. The film, according to the trailer, is about identity politics and turmoil in the North East.
